Am 28. September finden in Cortina d'Ampezzo drei Rennen statt, die auf drei verschiedenen Strecken durch das atemberaubende UNESCO-Weltnaturerbe Dolomiten führen. Die Teilnehmer werden eine perfekte Mischung aus Natur, Geschichte, Tradition und kulinarischen Genüssen erleben.
Cortina d’Ampezzo, am 20. März 2024_Ab sofort kann man sich für das Delicious Festival Dolomiti anmelden, ein Trailrunning-Event, das am 28. September in Cortina d'Ampezzo und Alta Badia stattfindet. Es wird von L5T SPORT ASD, Consorzio Delicious Cortina und der Gemeinde Cortina d'Ampezzo co-organisiert und steht unter der Schirmherrschaft der Regole d'Ampezzo, des Naturschutzparks der Ampezzaner Dolomiten, der Sektion Cortina des Italienischen Alpenvereins CAI, der Tourismusgenossenschaft Alta Badia und Alta Badia Brand, sowie der Gemeinde Abtei.
Es sind drei einzigartige Rennen, mit Strecken von seltener Schönheit, die neben dem sportlichen Aspekt auch Gaumenfreuden bieten, dank der Verpflegungsstationen in Höhenlage und am Ziel, die ortstypische Spezialitäten sowie "traditionelle" Verpflegung anbieten, aber auch Nahrungsergänzungsmittel und Mineralsalze für diejenigen, die sich auf das Rennen konzentrieren wollen und nur das Ziel vor Augen haben.
DIE DREI BERGLAUFSTRECKEN IN CORTINA D'AMPEZZO, POCOL UND ALTA BADIA
Der Delicious Trail Dolomiti wird auf einer Streckenlänge von ca. 43 Kilometern mit 3.100 positiven Höhenmetern ausgetragen. Der Startschuss fällt im Herzen von Cortina, die Route führt über Pocol, Croda Da Lago, 5 Torri, Nuvolau, Lagazuoi und den Falzarego-Pass. Sie verläuft durch das größte Freilichtmuseum des Ersten Weltkriegs, Austragungsort des Hochgebirgskriegs in den Dolomiten, und durch den Lagazuoi-Stollen in 2.647 m Höhe. Der Zieleinlauf befindet sich in Pocol.
Der Short Delicious Trail Dolomiti ist ein etwa 22 Kilometer langer Berglauf mit 1.300 positiven Höhenmetern, mit Start und Ziel in Cortinas Ortsteil Pocol. Die Route ist zwar kürzer, jedoch nicht weniger spektakulär, da sie durch einige überwältigende Landstriche führt: 5 Torri und die Nuvolau-Gruppe.
Und schließlich der Medium Delicious Trail Dolomiti, das „jüngste" der drei Rennen, das bereits zum dritten Mal ausgetragen wird. Die Route ist 35 km lang und weist einen positiven Höhenunterschied von 1.900 m. auf. Die Startlinie befindet sich im Hochabteital, im Zentrum von La Villa/Stern, die Route folgt ein Stück dem „Weg der Künstler“, führt dann bis auf 2.778 m Höhe auf dem Gipfel des Kleinen Lagazuoi und daraufhin bergab nach Pocol, wo sich das Ziel befindet.
Das UNESCO-Weltnaturerbe Dolomiten beherbergt drei spektakuläre Berglaufrennen, die alle in den Kalendern der National League ITRA und UTMB Index Races verzeichnet sind.
